「日本の表現力」をテーマに、デジタルアートからゲーム、ロボット、アニメ、マンガにまで広がる「日本のメディア芸術」を、現在・過去・未来の3つの視点で紹介しました。展示は、1950年から現在までの日本のメディア芸術の軌跡を紹介する「(1)日本のメディア芸術1950-2006」、江戸から縄文時代にまでさかのぼり日本のメディア芸術の源流を探る「(2)表現の源流」、日本のメディア芸術の未来を展望する「(3)未来への可能性」の3部で構成されています。

Under the theme “Japan Expression”, we introduce “Japanese Media Art” including Digital Art, Game software, Robots, Animation and Manga from 3 different viewpoints; present day, the past and the future. The Exhibition had 3 phases; “(1) Japanese Media Art 1950 ? 2006” ? introducing the stream of Japanese Media Art from 1950 to the present, “(2) The origin of expression” ? exploring the origin of Japanese Media Art from the Jomon to the Edo era, and “(3) The possibilities in the future” ? forecasting the future of Japanese Media Art.
